Installation Best Practices
Because 32mm shrouds are thick and rigid, they can be difficult to install correctly. Follow these professional tips:

| 1. Order | Slide the shroud onto the cable before anything else. | You cannot stretch a 32mm shroud over a finished gland. |
| 2. Heat | If the PVC is stiff, soak it in boiling water for 1 minute. | This makes the material behave like soft rubber, allowing it to stretch over the M32 hex nut easily. |
| 3. Trim | Cut the “tail” of the shroud with a sharp knife. | Ensure the hole is slightly smaller than the cable OD for a “compression fit” seal. |
| 4. Sealing | Apply a bead of silicone sealant inside the tail. | Provides an extra layer of IP68 protection for extreme outdoor environments. |
